Webcam Help

WCS Construction provides owners and project managers the ability to view the progress of construction in real time with a live camera feed.

Please note that the webcams do not display on the latest version of Firefox (2.0+). You will need to be using Internet Explorer with ActiveX enabled. It may take up to 1 minute while either the ActiveX software or the web camera server is contacted, so please be patient and allow your browser time to load the page. Instructions for installation follow below.

1.) When viewing the camera for the first time, you will usually see the following message appear just below the top menu of your web browser, called the Information Bar: "This website wants to install the following add-on: 'SNC-RZ25 Image Viewer' from 'Sony Corporation'. If you trust the website and the add-on and want to install it, click here..."

You may also see a popup dialog box point this out to you: "The Information Bar alerts you to security-related conditions (for example, if a potentially unsafe file or pop-up was just blocked). If a webpage does not display properly, look for the Information Bar at the top of the page and click it." We recommend you follow the instructions and hit OK to get rid of this popup box.

2.) When you click on the Information Bar a dialog box with three options will appear. Select "Install ActiveX Control..." This will let you install 'SNC-RZ25 Image Viewer'

3.) After clicking Install ActiveX Control, you may also see a Security Warning box appear, asking you whether you want to install 'SNC-RZ25 Image Viewer'. Click "Install" to proceed. After a few moments the program will be installed and the page will refresh with the webcam. The webcam may take a moment or two to load so please be patient.

If you encounter any additional problems trying to access the webcam and it does not display, try again after a few minutes.

If the problem persists then please contact the webmaster and describe the problem in as much detail as you can, including what browser (and version), your Operating System, and what messages if any appear. Click here to contact the Webmaster.
